Integrity and Health

I think having integrity leads to better health. If your conscience is clear, and you've done the right thing, your heart wouldn't worry as much, and you'd sleep better.

Also, worrying creates stress, which could lead to increase in the hormone cortisol, which is detrimental to health over a long period of time.

One way to reduce stress is by exercising (which in turn releases your body's feel good hormones, such as endorphin, which act as an anagelsic.

Exercise thus helps reduce perceived pain which (incidentally) helps with the muscle aches attained by exercising.

That reminds me of a funny comment i read on facebook last week, about someone who commented about why they should take a loan or use a credit card to attain a good credit score, when the loan and/or credit card could potentially put them in debt, thus giving them bad credit. This goes from a standpoint of a person who does not have any debt, no loans, or bills... but has no credit score.

8 years ago, I had the same predicament... but had not the words to express it. Some times, i still feel like i need to exercise; so my words flow more easily when my blood is pumped and oxygenated better during exercise.
