The steps of a good man
Finding honor *or honour in British English* has to be earned, without seeking it actively.
Some people can be conned some of the time, some people can be conned most of the tome, but you can't con everyone all the time.
I am mentally tired. I think staying up today is giving my coherence a huge hit.
The title of this post comes from Psalms 37:23 I think, of the KJV. I learnt it as a song that is stuck in my head.
"The steps of a good man, are ordered by the Lord, and he delighteth in His way.
though he falls, he shall not be utterly struck down"
This promise is one of my favorites, incidentally it comes at a time when i'm happily singing in my head, just before my mood like a pebdulant swung.
And the rage of dragons again waft a smokey tendrils from my snout. I am incredibly moody from being sleep deprived. Now that I think about it, my parents were also contentious when they were sleep deprived, and on a Sunday. Or both.
Chinese people call themselves the "Han people", or also as the children of the dragon. I think my fascination with dragons, and the power they represented was an idolatry to my heart.
It was probably exacerbated by my love of fantasy genres in novels by Terry Prachett, Piers Anthony, David Eddings and Tom Clancy (yes, Tom Clancy's realistic fiction is derived perhaps from his imagination that a university professor would become president, and that major American trade and military installations would be attacked using commercial aircraft wad a strange twist of real life imitating fiction).
Lately though, I have been a huge fan of Naomi Novik and Jim Butcher. I started reading 2 brandon Sanderson novels because he showed up on a quick search of top fantasy authors.
